All peels will remove the skins outer layer which is comprised of primarily dead cells. Peels will stimulate collagen and elastin to tighten and firm the layers beneath. The procedure of each peel will decrease the appearance of wrinkles, age spots, blemishes.
We offer different strengths and intensities in each peel that will focus on different skin concerns. Resurfacing peels focus on polishing the skin with little to no down time while revealing a hydrating and radiant glow to your skin while more intense chemical peels will target more difficult concerns such as acne, pigmentation or scarring.
​DO I NEED TO PREPARE BEFORE MY PEEL?
Prepping before a peel isn’t always required but is highly recommended to achieve the best results. A basic routine to balance your skin before a peel will always give you a better controlled result. More intensive peels will require the use of approximate skincare for before and after your treatment.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR PEEL?
The peel treatment will begin the process of normalising your skin to regulate oil production and reduce free radical activity which is ultimately what damages your cells and ages you. The stimulation of collagen and elastin will strengthen your skin and reverse the ageing process. With a resurfacing treatment or superficial peel, you may experience micro-flaking. However, with a deeper chemical peel you will experience layered flaking that can last up to 7 days. You will see immediate results following your peel. Texture will improve and the clarity of your skin will be noticeable.
